On April 12, 2020, Office of Leading Group on Preventing and Controlling the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia of Rikaze City and Ali Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region of China released an Announcement on Preventing the Imported COVID-19 Cases from Abroad via Land Ports as follows:

Announcement on Preventing the Imported COVID-19 Cases from Abroad via Land Ports

In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the world, the following measures have been taken to prevent the imported cases from abroad via land ports.

Passenger transportation via China-Nepal Jilong port and Pulan port will not be resumed for the time being, the passenger Entry and Exit passages remain closed. The Entry and Exit by individuals from third countries are prohibited.

This announcement shall take effect on the date of its issuance. In case of discrepancy, this announcement shall prevail.
