H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan Attends a Talk Program Celebrating 37th Anniversary of CRI Nepali Service

On 22 June, 2012, on the auspicious occasion of 37th Anniversary of China Radio International (CRI) Nepali Service, National Council of CRI Listeners' Clubs-Nepal and CRI Confucius Classroom organized a talk program on CRI Nepali Service and Nepal-China Friendship Relations. H.E. Mr. Yang Houlan, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Mr. Ganga Prasad Uprety, Vice Chancellor of Nepal Academy, H.E. Mr. Rajeshwor Acharya, former Nepalese Ambassador to China along with other diplomats, experts and scholars, representatives from friendship organizations attended the program and gave speeches.

Yang highly appreciated CRI Nepali Service's contribution to promoting China-Nepal friendship over the past 37 years. He thanked the government and the people of Nepal for their support to CRI and wish CRI Nepali Service make new contributions to the understandings and friendship between the peoples of China and Nepal.

   

Other attendants extended their warm congratulations to CRI Nepali Service for its 37th anniversary. They said that as China's mainstream media, CRI has provided a platform of understanding China to people in the world. And CRI Nepali Service has installed an air bridge for China-Nepal friendship, and provided abundant study resources for all Nepalese who love China. Nepal and China are close neighbors. China has provided generous assistance to the development of Nepal. The people of Nepal have very deep feelings to China. Nowadays China has made huge developing achievements. Nepal should learn from China, strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side, to get on the express train of development.
