On 23 August, 2012, H.E. Mr. Yang Houlan, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, meets with Mr. Madan Regmi, Chairman of China Study Center (CSC). The two sides cordially exchange ideas on Nepal's political situation, China-Nepal bilateral relations and China-Nepal-India trilateral relations, etc. Ms. Wang Lixin, Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Nepal and members of CSC attend the meeting.

Regmi says that CSC actively interacts with Chinese government, academic and friendly organizations since established in 2000 and has published many books and periodicals about China. In recent years, the political and economic relations between Nepal and China become more closely, bringing more new research topics for CSC. CSC hopes to strengthen academic exchanges with China.

Yang appreciates CSC'S contribution to China-Nepal relations over the past years and hopes CSC make use of existing resources and expand innovation, to play a bigger role in the course of China-Nepal friendly cooperation in various areas.
