I’m very glad to witness an important milestone of China-Nepal cultural exchanges in this golden autumn. Chinese Government will establish China Cultural Center in Nepal.
Culture is the soul of a nation. To understand a nation’s culture can reduce the distance between people’s hearts. The cultural exchanges are the source and key contents of China-Nepal relations. In the modern era of globalization, our two peoples have more desire to strengthen mutual communications and understanding between us. With the great support of our two governments, today we eventually signed memorandum of understanding between the Government of China and the Government of Nepal on the establishment of China Cultural Center in Nepal. From now on, we will have a brand-new cultural exchanges platform, which enables Nepalese friends who like Chinese culture experience, feel, and understand China without going abroad. The establishment of China Cultural Center in Nepal will certainly promote the exchanges and cooperation between our two countries in cultural field, and enhance our mutual understanding and friendship.
I would like to express my gratitude to Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal for your strong support to the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Nepal. I believe that communication and cooperation between China-Nepal in cultural field will bring a bright future for China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation.
