On June 18,2007,on behalf the National Congress of People's Republic of China(NCPRC), Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Zheng Xianglin hands over 500,000 RMB worth of office equipment to the Legislature-Parliament of Nepal (LPN). H.E. Mr. Zheng Xianglin and Rt. Hon. Mr. Surya Kiran Gurun, Secretary General of LPN, sign a Delivery and Acceptance Certificate, respectively on behalf of NCPRC and LPN.

Rt. Hon. Mr. Subas Nembang,the Speaker of LPN, Hon. Ms. Yadav, Deputy Speaker of LPN and officials from LPN Secretariat and Chinese Embassy witness the hand-over ceremony.
In his remarks, H.E. Mr. Zheng Xianglin has expressed the friendly sentiments of NCPRC and Chinese people to LPN and Nepalese people. "At a time when the peace process of Nepal is going on, as a friendly neighbor of Nepal, China sincerely hopes that Nepal can achieve peace, harmony and reconciliation, and is ready to deliver its support and help", says Chinese Ambassador, "it is a reflection of such support that I hand over the equipment today."
In the thanks vote, Rt. Hon. Mr. Surya Kiran Gurun has expressed his heart-felt gratitude.

The equipment is the gifts promised by H.E. Mr. Li Tieying, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of NCPRC during his visit to Nepal this January. The gifts include 24 Laptop Computers, 20 Desktop Computers, 10 Laser Jet Printers and 4 Multi-function Printers.
