H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan Attended Literary Conferece of Nepal Bhasha

On October 26, 2012, Nepal Bhasha Sahitya Taa Munjaya held literary conference of Nepal Bhasha in Bhaktapur. Over 2000 people including H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan, Chairman of the Nepal Workers and Peasants' Party Mr. Narayan Man Bijuikchhen, Mayor of Bhaktapur Mr. Suwal, Nepalese language experts, writers, poets and media reporters attended the conference.

During the conference, Ambassador Yang had a deep conversation with Mr. Narayan Man Bijuikchhen and Mr. Suwal on Nepalese culture development and culture exchanges between China and Nepal. They agreed to make joint efforts to promote bilateral culture interaction.

Ambassador Yang to Nepali friends that China's peaceful developing policy comes from deeply rooted traditional culture. To understand Chinese culture would be beneficial to consolidate and develop friendship between two countries. He was pleased to know that the various Chinese cultural festivals are popular in Nepal, and Nepal Cultural Festival went on smoothly in China. China and Nepal should join hands to promote their development, and to make more contribution for world cultural development and harmony.
