Ambassador Yang Houlan Presents Copy of Letter of Credence to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal

On June 19, 2011, Chinese Ambassador-designate to Nepal Mr. Yang Houlan presented Copy of Letter of Credence to Mr. Bhatta, Chief of Protocol of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.

Mr. Bhatta welcomed Ambassador Yang to assume the new post and said that Nepal and China enjoy a traditional friendly relationship. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries continue to deepen. He believed that during Ambassador Yang's tenure in Nepal, Nepal-China relationship will be further enhanced and developed.

Ambassador Yang said that Nepal is the traditional friendly neighbor of China. The Chinese government attaches great importance to China-Nepal relationship. He would try his best to push forward the development of China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation featuring everlasting friendship.

Ambassador Yang arrived in Kathmandu to assume the office on June 18. Officers of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Presidents of friendly organizations like Aniko Society and Nepal-China Executive Council, section leaders of Chinese Embassy in Nepal greeted Ambassador Yang at the airport.
